°What kind of snails are they?

The snails bred by us and for sale are of the Helix Aspersa Muller species (cornu aspersum), typical snails of the Mediterranean region with a brown/striped color and weighing between 10/14 g.

°How many snails are there in 1 kg?

Approximately one kg of snails is made up of 80/100 pieces.

°How many snails should I buy for each person?

As a guide, the quantity of snails per person for a dinner is 500g each (but here it is always at the discretion of the "good fork").

°Is it possible to purchase all year round?

We will certainly never leave you without your beloved snails.

°Are the snails shipped alive?

YES. Our company only deals with fresh products, the snails will arrive in your kitchens alive, purged and ready to cook.

°How long does it take to ship?

Your order will be processed within the day if the order is received by 3pm, otherwise it will be issued the following day, arriving in your kitchen within 24/48 hours.

°What should I do once the snails have arrived?

If you do not intend to eat the snails immediately, you can store them for up to 30 days in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and at ROOM TEMPERATURE.

°Should I put the snails in the fridge?

NO. our snails should not be kept in the fridge, as following the natural cycle, we keep them at room temperature for their entire life stage so as not to cause them to undergo temperature stress which could lead to death.

°Can I freeze snails?

The snails can be frozen ONLY AFTER BOILED, and then defrosted and used if necessary.
