Snails recipe with Thermomix

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 gr. of operculate snails Thermomix recipes
  • 1 shallot
  • 30 gr. of EVO oil
  • 4 cherry tomatoes, cherry tomatoes
  • 100 gr. of tomato sauce
  • hot water
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • Origan

PREPARATION OF THE RECIPE

  1. Remove the white cap (operculum) from the snails and wash under running water until all the attached soil is eliminated.

    Pour the snails into a pan of cold water, add salt and cook for about 30 minutes. At the end of cooking, wash again and let drain.

    Meanwhile, put in Closed lid the shallot and chop: 3 sec./ speed. 7.

    Pour into Closed lid the oil and fry: 3 min./ 100°/ speed. 1.

    Add the cherry tomatoes, the sauce and lots of hot water until it exceeds the blades; salt and pepper.

    Place the snails in the basket and place it in the Closed lid , cook: 15-20 min./ 100°/ Counter-clockwise operation /speed. 1.

    Once cooked, pour the snails into a bowl and sprinkle them with the sauce, sprinkle with oregano and mix carefully.

    Serve very hot with crusty bread.
