Pasta Recipe with Snails, Cherry Tomatoes and Basil:
Ingredients:
- 500 g of short pasta
- 500 g of land snails LUMACA ITALIA
- 500 g of fresh cherry tomatoes
- 100g bacon
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 handful of fresh basil
- 30 g of grated parmesan
Preparation:
- Peel and chop the garlic cloves and place them in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil together with the bacon. Fry for 2 minutes over medium heat.
- Add the previously boiled land snails and cook them for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cherry tomatoes cut in half and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add a pinch of salt and black pepper according to taste.
- In the meantime, boil the pasta al dente in plenty of salted water.
- Drain the pasta and pour it into the pan with the snails, cherry tomatoes and garlic. Mix well.
- Chop the basil and add it to the pasta.
- Serve and sprinkle with grated parmesan.
- Serve hot immediately.
